With the musical coming up quick, the directors decided to have a meeting about what’s upcoming, and what’s good to know. With Mr. Richardson as the new director, you would think there might be some change with how it rolls this year. In all reality though, there won’t be anything different.
“There will be almost no noticeable change from a student’s perspective. The only difference would be that I’m more in charge at auditions.” said Richardson.
Auditions will be held on November the 27th and 28th for the High School Musical play here in the PHS Performing Arts Center. It was made clear that anyone auditioning will need to have some sort of short song prepared, even if it’s only a small part of it.
“It can be anything! Songs from the early 2000’s are really not a bad idea” said Richardson.
These meetings are more for student’s questions than anything else. There won’t be much change for any students who have participated in past years, but “new blood” performers needs to know how it all works.
