Years from now everyone will remember the class couple and that person with the best hair or the best smile, but what about everybody else? Its mock election time for the senior class.
Some people try to get themselves on the list, but for the majority of seniors, their names aren’t among the most memorable.
Having 30 categories in the mock election only allows 60 people total–30 boys and 30 girls–to be elected, leaving at least 130 students, or 65 percent, to wallow in rejection the following week. While the rejection remains, in a few years they will have gotten over the fact that they failed to be elected for best eyes or most sarcastic.
The elections just came to a halt this past friday, after being open for a week and a half. They are expected to be posted at “The T” very soon, if they’re not up already.
Within the categories where there is almost no competition there are Mr. & Mrs. John Deere, class couple, class rebel, and class bromance.
Landslide Categories
- Mr. & Mrs. John Deere : Devin Cobble and Ashlie Brock
- Class Couple : Bailee Rieman and Jake Wisnaski
- Class Bromance : Matt Miller and Forrest Bennett
- Class Rebel : Alan Shultz and Abby Benson
