Applying for college just got a little more interesting.  

There are now raffle prizes for students applying for colleges in the media center during College Application Week 2015.  

Seniors could win;

• An iTunes cards,
• A microwave, mini fridge,
• 40 inch flat screen TV,
• Mini iPad
• Beats headphones.  

Thanks to a grant called “Reach Higher,” the guidance department has been able to give out these amazing prizes.  

As seniors apply to different colleges and fill out related paperwork such as financial aid forms, they earn raffle tickets. The more tickets students get, the better their odds are of winning a prize.

It is possible to get anywhere between 1-8 tickets; the kicker is you can only win one prize.  

If the same name was drawn for two different items, the student would only receive the higher value prize.  

Counselors will draw for the prizes on Friday afternoon and they will be available to take home that day.
