Over the last year and a half, mask mandates have been a highly controversial topic. We went from total lockdown to mask mandates, to vaccinations, to partial mask mandates. We are in a vicious and deadly cycle. While I understand that masks can be annoying and hard to breathe in, they are essential to slowing the spread of COVID-19. I would much rather wear a mask and save a life, then not and possibly end one. 

     What people seem to not understand is that in order for this to all be over, for the mask mandates to go away and for our lives to go back to normal, we must wear a mask and get vaccinated.
