Black Panther is 2018 American filmed based off the Marvel comics. 79 percent of audience members liked the movie and it got a 97 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

“Whether or not this is the best film Marvel Studios has made to date-and it is clearly in the discussion-it is by far the most thought-provoking,” said Christopher Orr The Atlantic.

The movie has made 169 million dollars overseas and 371 million dollars domestic. On March 2, 2018 “Box Office: Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ Tops $800M Worldwide Today,” Scott Mendelson. This breaks records “Star Wars The Force Awakens” made around 750 million dollars.

“Really cool movie I don’t know I just found it appealing my favorite character is T’challa (Black Panther) he’s pretty cool good leader and king he’s more mature than everyone else. My favorite part is when he beats Erik Killmonger,” said Luke Sutherland ‘19 on the main characters of the movie.

The movie has had a global impact for people from African descent. For them it’s a proud moment for their communities. And for everyone else it is a powerful experience.
